Gonna miss this place.

So, today was officially my last day on roving maintenance. That doesn't necessarily mean I won't be on it again if they need me to before we leave, just that I'm not assigned to it after today since next weekend is our last on a team.

Ok, so we left Jacksonville, Fl. in the middle of Sept. 09.

This is our map, we will be filling in a state every time we go through one....

Snowgeese fly-in..........

You saw the pics on yesterdays blog..... This is a video of the Snowgeese flying in. It is quite loud, and I apologize about the wind noise.............

The birds are baaaaaaack!

For a few weeks anyway, then they will be on to their breeding grounds. In the meantime, they are here to eat and build up their energy, in order to make the long journey. The refuge spread out some new corn today, so the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese came in for a feast!
